If you want a sexy little camera that shoots great pictures and video's, this should be a the top of your list.
The camera is perfect for those who crave ease of operation,and a small easy to carry size. The screen size is so nice--and clear! Everything about this gem is intuitive- you will be up an running as soon as the battery is charged.
The design is filled with style,and the color (get the green!) is vivid and turns heads wherever you go.
The video feature is tailor made for YouTube and email--your friends an family are sure to enjoy your "productions". The very easy to use "auction" or "blog" features make me love this even more!
I would suggest getting at least a 1GB SD or SDhc card - 2, 4, or 8GB, to make sure you have plenty of space.
Working in the motion picture and television indudsty, I have access to a wide range range of cameras. People sometimes get hung up with professional quality vs something you really USE, day to day.
If you buy this for yourself or as a gift, you will be getting a great little camera. At a price under $150, you cant go wrong!

This camera was a birthday present to my 13 year old niece. I work as a photographer AND as a representative for a competing camera manufacturer, so I was extremely sceptical that this camera would be suitable.
My nieces eyes lit up when she opened the gift, and to my surprise she was able to use it immediately (the battery was charged at the factory?).
She took dozens of pictures at her party, and didn't seem to have any problems with lag time, 'hunting' focus, or exposure problems that would be evident with most other cameras in the unusual lighting conditions where her party was held.
Most importantly, it was easy to use. She started using it immediately, which means that she didn't read the instruction book. She got a lot of great, fun photos, and was able to view 'em right away without the need of instructions.

I received my camera a few weeks ago, and initially had some trouble figuring out why the pics I was taking weren't being saved onto my SD card. I read the manual and discovered I had to "format" it (which took two seconds) so that was solved. Otherwise, I love the quality of the pictures; the menu is clear and easy to read and navigate; it uploads beautifully (didn't use the included software, just went straight from SD card to laptop); and of course, I love how sleek and lightweight it is! I have a young child, and when I want to take pictures, I don't want a lot of lag time between when I press the button and it taking the picture. My old camera took like 3 or 4 seconds (yes, it was horrible), but this one is very fast! I'm very happy with my purchase, and ecstatic to have found it about $40 cheaper here on Amazon.com when compared to Target.com where I almost bought from!
